Luck Always...

Enjoying my Saturday back at my stamping desk I once again decided to have a go at the sketch over at CAS(E) this sketch! for this week CTS#37.  I really like this sketch and am sure I will use it again many times...I think it is so versatile.  This is another male card for my collection and I have to say I have gone back into my comfort zone with these colours!  Thanks for taking a peek, Vikki

Hi, I'm back again, once again taking up the challenge over at CAS(E) this sketch! using the sketch for this week CTS#36.  I'm actually enjoying going out of my comfort zone each week...although I am finding it challenging, especially using different shapes to what I normally do....it is a good excuse to go and buy different stamps and cutting templates though!  Although it is quite basic I do like this finished card....I hope you do too...thanks for taking a peek.

Falling Leaves...

Well, talk about a challenge!  My sister-in-law threw out the challenge for me to make a card using the sketch for this week CTS#35 over at CAS(E) this sketch!  I think this is about my sixth attempt and I'm still not quite sure I got it as right as I would have liked...but I am pleased I had a go!...thanks for taking a peek, Vikki
  

Dare to Dream....

Hi, today I did a little blogging and checked out a few blogs I hadn't visited before.  Whilst peeking at Annabelle Stamps I came across Topical Tuesdays - Versamark and Chalk - tt073.  I haven't used my chalks in such a long time and was inspired to chalk the plane which I used on the birthday card for my son who will be turning 19 in September....yes! I am early and prepared for a change!  To make this card I used the sketch from Fab Friday this week FabFri21.  I'm really happy with how this card turned out....thank you everyone for your inspiration.  

Butterflies and Birthday Wishes..

Hi ladies, I have been cramming in as much card making as I can these last couple of days as I return to work next Monday after 2 weeks holiday....all good things definitely do come to end!  I made this card inspired by the  Mojo300 sketch this week over at Mojo Monday.  I am very happy with my effort here as I added a few different aspects to this card which I have not done before...especially the stitching on the card....had to dig out the sewing machine for this one....must hide it before my hubby realizes I still own one...lol!  Thanks for taking a peek....Vikki

May all your Dreams come true....

Hi, back again.  After much procrastinating,I have taken myself slightly out of my comfort zone today and had a go at the Dynamic Duos DD#59:  Basic Gray & YOUR CHOICE challenge and I have also combined it with the sketch for this week at Freshly Made Sketches FMS93.  Considering that these aren't colours I would normally work with I'm quite happy with how this card turned out.  Thanks for taking a look.

 

Wait not for tomorrow.....

Hi ladies, I couldn't resist.... I just had to make another card using the FMS92 from last week at Freshly Made Sketches.  I soooo love this sketch.  My sister happened to call in last Saturday when I was making the card for my nephew and she said how much she liked the style.  Now, she recently had a birthday and I had intended to give her a different card, but I thought what the heck she was getting the card late anyway so why not give her a design she said she liked!  We had afternoon tea after she finished work today..(homemade Lemon Meringue Pie....made by me might I add!)...and I gave her this late birthday card which I am pleased to say she liked very much!  Thanks for taking a peek.

Freshly Made

Hi, I have been having lots of fun this week checking out the different challenges on offer and I have to say this FMS92 sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches really caught my eye.  I love this design and used it to make a card for my nephew Matthew who turned 17 on Saturday.  I knew I was on a winner when I gave him this card last night....yes I know a day late!....when his reaction was 'Nice card Aunty Vik'....he is now my favourite nephew!  I hope you like it too....happy stamping,Vikki.

Birthday Wishes...

Well, I am finally back on my blog!  Having been on school holidays this past week and with my hubby out of town for the day on Saturday.. I have finally got around to doing some stamping.  This week I took a peek over at CAS(E) this sketch!..and I love this CTS#34 sketch!  I have made a birthday card using a new embossing folder that I found at the craft store this week and just had to have!  I hope you like it, and thanks for stopping by....Vikki
